F1Hybrids Savannah Cattery

We are proud members of FCF (Feline Conservation Federation).  Both TICA (The International Cat Association)  registered and USDA approvable. Our savannah cat cattery has three zones to provide the most comfort for my Furry kids.

 

We have two zones on the right and left side of our barn that was converted for the cats.  The cats are moved around once a week along with the stumps, large tree branches, cat trees, cat toys, plastic balls, large water bins and cat beds. The cats have constant enrichment that we are constantly changing.

Our kittens are raised to be well behaved pets. Imprinting on the kittens is extremely important. So we start at an early age allowing them to heard loud noises, dogs and domestic cats.

 

During the first few weeks we us regular “Tidy cat litter for multiple cats”. We try to move the kittens into using the Cat genie™. The Cat genie™  is top of the line cat litter box that is both eco friendly and sanitary. The kittens have the choice of using the cat genie or regular cat litter.

 

The Cat genie™  is rather tall and large so most kitten do not begin to use it till the are 10 weeks old. We converted our barn to fit our cats. Each stall was converted into an inside area for the cats. Each serval cat has access to there own inside & outside play pen. The inside pen has a house that is heated and cooled for comfort.

 

I’m proud to say we started some climbing roses last summer so the cattery will eventually be surrounded with lovely roses. We also have cucumber and cantaloupe planted each year just for the cats to eat and play with.

Each savannah cat has access to there own inside & outside play pen. The savannah cat inside pen is heated and cooled for comfort. The walls are made of commercial grad plastic that is sanitized daily for comfort and to prevent any illnesses.

 

It’s extremely important to us that the cats have lots of enrichment and change in there lives. This zone is set up with at least 7 perches in each pen.

 

It may be hard to tell but the walls are 12 feet high, the inside area is about 20+ feet long and 10 feet wide. The outside area is 10 feet wide and 30 ft long.
